Anwar Khan

Anwar's abstracts have a gentle austerity and graphic quality. Taught by the great J. Swaminathan, Anwar achieves this through thin, finely graded washes of paint and faint textures. The feel of vast expanses of space and the music of the sufis is created with transparency that shows his attunement.

Anwar lives and works in New Delhi.
