Ratnadeep Adivrekar

Ratnadeep Adivrekar was born in Mumbai in 1975. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the J.J. School of Art, Mumbai in 1997. He was awarded the National Scholarship by Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi in 2001, the Bendre-Hussain Scholarship in 2002 and the Harmony Award for best emerging artist of the year in 2003 amongst others.

Ratnadeep's solo exhibitions include 'Proverb In/ter/ventions' at NUS Museum Singapore in 2009 and his other solo shows have been held in Mumbai, Bangalore and Goa. He has participated in several group shows including recently 'Power of Peace', UNESCO 2nd Global Forum, Bangkok in 2009, 'The Big Draw' at Crimson, Bangalore in 2007, 'Art for water' at Cymroza Art Gallery, Mumbai, 'Indian contemporary art' at Tate Art Gallery, U.K and the Harmony Show, Mumbai in 2006.

Ratnadeep Adivrekar lives and works in Mumbai.
