Crimson - The Art Resource opened its first art gallery at Safina Plaza, Bangalore in 1989 from where it played a major role in supporting the growth of the city's contemporary art scene, by promoting both established artists, as well as emerging ones. Since 2004, Crimson has relocated at The Hatworks Boulevard, a beautifully restored heritage villa in the heart of Bangalore, where it now hosts its exhibitions and preview events which are well attended by artists, curators, critics, collectors and Bangalore's art aficionados.

Crimson offers a wide and comprehensive range of Modern and Contemporary art from artists across the country. It stocks abstract and figurative art, landscapes, still-life and portraits. The artists’ styles could be realistic, pop, contemporary, modern, post-modern or folk art. Our collection includes original oil paintings, watercolour paintings, drawings, mixed media works, sculptures, graphics, photography and serigraph prints. We deal in Fine Art, buy and sell art, display, hold exhibitions and promote art.

We have held more than 300 shows, both solo and group shows for our artists in the 35 years that we have been in Bangalore. Our range of artists has included Chandra Bhattacharjee, Paresh Hazra, Murali Cheeroth, Azis T M, Thota Vaikuntam, S G Vasudev, Suhas Roy, K M Adimoolam, Gopal Adivrekar, Yusuf Arakkal and many more

We have recently added an extremely vast range of limited edition signed and numbered serigraphs from 40 leading artists. This is being offered in our endeavour to make art more universally accessible at affordable rates. Our most popular range of these serigraphs includes several done by SH Raza, M F Husain and Thota Vaikuntam.
