Born in 1972in Itla, Burdwan, West Bengal. He completed his B Sc. From University of Burdwan, His Bachelor of Fine Arts from Indira Kala Sanghit Vishwa Vidyalaya, Khairagarh. He has won several awards notably the Painting Award from the Arts Society of India in 2009, the Bombay Arts Society Painting Award in 2009 and the AIFACS Painting Award in 2010.He has held 5 solo shows and has participated in several group exhibitions He lives and works in Mumbai
