Anand Panchal has a special preference for painting the rustic rural life of India depicting the human form. He captures the moods and movements of his subjects especially those of children and often goes far beyond what is usually evident. The use of bold typical Indian traditional colors in his palette adds to the cultural and ethnic vibrancy of his paintings which are often bathed in a warm comforting light. His figurative compositions are an accolade to the contemplative and serene expressions.

He lives and works in Mumbai
