Hukum Lal Verma

Hukum Lal Verma was born in 1970 in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. He graduated with an MFA by Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh, in 1997. He has held 5 Solo Shows and 20 Group Exhibitions. He has exhibited in Germany and USA. He was awarded Junior Fellowship by Government of India in 2008-09 and won an All India Award, A.I.F.A.C.S.,
New Delhi in 2003. Hukum Lal Verma paints his abstract compositions in an organic style. Colour fields and shapes create a visual geometry where one colour dominates over the others but still works with them to provide a esoteric balance of hard and soft planes.
