Limited Edition Serigraph printed in 12 colors on archival paper. This serigraph was published in an edition size of 125. The paper size is 31 x 43 inch. Doshi is considered an important figure of indian architecture and noted for his contributions to the evolution of architectural discourse in India. He was significantly involved in the design of Chandigarh, the new state capital of Punjab. He designed the living spaces for humble government servants. He was closely associated with Louis Kahn in the design of IIM, Bangalore. He was the brains behind the Husain Gufa in Ahmedabad. He made it his life-long endeavour to produce the best, basic and low-cost communal spaces. Dr. Doshi has received several international and national awards and honours – the Padma Shri, Government of India,1976; an Honorary doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania; France’s highest honour for arts the ‘Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters’. Like a true artist he conceptualizes. His serigraphs display his wealth of artistic talent. This artwork will be shipped rolled with Crimson’s certificate of authenticity.
